A prayer for Kingston Park
Our Heavenly Father, we pray for our community of Kingston Park. We give you thanks for this community in which we live. We pray for your ongoing protection of this area, that it will be peaceful and secure. Father, please send your spirit amongst us here in Kingston Park that we will be a loving and caring community.
Bless not only those who live here, but also those who work here. Bless the businesses that they will be prosperous and thriving. Especially Lord, let your spirit fall upon the people that they will realize their need for you and turn their hearts to you. Let them realize that true peace and salvation is only in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus name. Amen.
A prayer of Commitment
Lord Jesus, I realize I have lived my live far from you. I see how my sin has separated me from you. Please come into my life, my heart, mind and spirit make me the person you want me to be. Forgive me for living away from you all these years and help me to turn from my old ways to your new and righteous ways. I invite you to be Lord of my life and thank you for the difference I know you will make.
in Jesus name. Amen.
We hope you have received Christ into your life, if so please find a Christian church to attend where your faith will be strengthened and God's word is taught. If you live in the Northern part of Newcastle upon Tyne, you are very welcome to join us here at the church of St John the Evangelist, Kingston Park.
